Daniel Marcy

Daniel Marcy (7 November 1809-3 November 1893) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-NH 1) from 4 March 1863 to 4 March 1865, interrupting Gilman Marston's terms.

Biography[]

Daniel Marcy was born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire in 1809, and he became a shipbuilder. He served in the State House from 1854 to 1857, in the State Senate from 1857 to 1858, and in the US House of Representatives from 1863 to 1865. He returned to the State Senate from 1871 to 1872, and he died in 1893.
