Daniel Lienard de Beaujeu (9 August 1711-9 July 1755) was a French captain who served in King George's War and the French and Indian War.
Biography[]
Daniel Lienard de Beaujeu was born in Ville-Marie, Montreal, New France in 1711. He became an officer in the French Royal Army, fighting in King George's War and arranging the ambush of General Edward Braddock at the start of the French and Indian War. He personally utilized Indian war paint during the ambush, but he was killed at the start of the Battle of the Monongahela.
