Daniel Ermentrout (24 January 1837-17 September 1899) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-PA 8) from 4 March 1881 to 3 March 1889 (succeeding Hiester Clymer and preceding William Mutchler) and from PA-9 from 4 March 1897 to 17 September 1899 (succeeding Constantine J. Erdman and preceding Henry D. Green).

Daniel Ermentrout was born in Reading, Pennsylvania in 1837, and he practiced law before serving as a district attorney, as city solicitor, in the US House of Representatives from 1881 to 1889 and from 1897 to 1899, and in the state senate from 1873 to 1874 and from 1875 to 1887. He died in 1899.
