Daniel Amos Wayman (1853-1899) was a sheriff's deputy from Strawberry, Colorado during the 1890s. In 1899, he and dozens of other lawmen were killed in a massive shootout with Arthur Morgan at the town's police station while trying to apprehend him due to his accidental altercation with Hal McMurdock.
