Daniel A. Frink (18 January 1835-11 November 1885) was the Republican Mayor of Kansas City from 1881 to 1882, succeeding Charles A. Chace and preceding Thomas B. Bullene.
Biography[]
Daniel A. Frink was born in Ellington, Connecticut in 1835, and he was raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan and served as a Union Army recruiter during the American Civil War. He moved to Kansas City in 1867 and worked as a realtor before serving as Mayor from 1881 to 1882 and attempting to prohibit gambling and prostitution. He died in 1885.
