Dana Perino (9 May 1972-) was White House Press Secretary from 14 September 2007 to 20 January 2009, succeeding Tony Snow and preceding Robert Gibbs.

Dana Marie Perino was born in Evanston, Wyoming in 1972, and she was raised in Parker, Colorado. She worked as a news reporter for WCIA before serving as a staffer for congressman Scott McInnis in Washington DC, as press secretary for congressman Dan Schaefer, as a spokesperson for the Justice Department from 2001 to 2003, as White House Deputy Press Secretary from 2005 to 2007, as White House Press Secretary from 2007 to 2009, and as a member of the Broadcasting Board of Governors from 2010 to 2012. She became a conservative political commentator for Fox News.
