Dan Springer (born 18 June 1837) was a Union Army lieutenant who served in the 4th Pennsylvania Reserve Regiment during the American Civil War. At 9:30 AM on 17 September 1862, he took part in the skirmish with the Confederate States Army at Pry Ford during the Battle of Antietam, holding the CSA's South Carolinian regiment at bay.
