Dale Edward Wolf (6 September 1924-20 March 2021) was the Republican Governor of Delaware from 31 December 1992 to 19 January 1993, succeeding Mike Castle and preceding Tom Carper.
Biography[]
Dale Edward Wolf was born in Kearney, Nebraska in 1924, and he served in the US Army during World War II, fighting at the Battle of Okinawa in 1945. After the war, he worked for Du Pont, and he served as Lieutenant Governor from 1989 to 1992 and as Governor from 1992 to 1993 after Mike Castle was elected to the US House of Representatives. He died in 2021.
