Dagomaros

Dagomaros (312 BC-259 BC) was a general of the Iceni and one of the Elder Chiefs.

Biography[]

Dagomaros was one of the kinsmen of Adiatorix and was one of the Elder Chiefs that led the Iceni tribe of Camulodunon in Britannia. Dagomaros was a man of dignity who felt that reputation and influence were worthy as a leader, and he was a key member of the ruling body of the Iceni. In 260 BC, through political intrigue, he advanced in rank. In 259 BC, he was killed in the siege of Eburakon (York, England), although it was a victory.
