Cyneweard of Westmoringas (845-881) was an Anglo-Saxon nobleman who was King of Westmoringas from 878 to 881, succeeding Wulfsige. In 879, he raised an army at Otergimele (Southport) to participate in an invasion of Danish Northymbre from the west. In 881, he was killed in battle with the Danes at the Battle of Selesat near Ripon.
