Cynedeall Seal (born 838) was an East Anglian historian who lived in Norwich, Norfolk, England during the late 9th century AD. In 874 AD, she came to Norwich to visit the site of King Edmund the Martyr's death and observe the arrows blessed by Father James, and she was shocked when the Norwegian Viking warrior Eivor plucked the blessed arrows from the throne. However, she guiltily asked Eivor if she could buy them, deciding that she could tell them apart from Eivor's other arrows due to her archivist skills.
