Curtis Carrucan (1782-) was an American plantation owner and slave-holder who lived in Mississippi during the Antebellum era. In 1858, he had his slaves Django and Broomhilda von Shaft branded as runaways and sold for cheap after they attempted to elope following a marriage which Carrucan disapproved of.
