Cuneo

The Cuneo crime family was an American Mafia crime syndicate that was formed in New York City during the 1920s. The Cuneo family was led by Carmine Cuneo, and the family was known for its mastery of illusion, commanding respect from the other Five Families and from the NYPD. The family's illegal gambling business made it the highest-earning Mafia family in New York, and it controlled crime in Hell's Kitchen and The Bronx, also having some connections to crime in Kansas City. During the 1940s and 1950s, the power of the Cuneo family was shattered as a result of the Five Families War, which saw the Corleone crime family take over its rackets and eliminate its leadership. The Cuneo family's power was shattered, and it became a vassal of the Corleone family over the next few decades.
