Cruz E. Hilyard (1851-1898) was an American outlaw who rode with Lionel Gladwell's gang in Louisiana during the 1890s. In 1898, he and Gladwell's other henchmen were shot dead by the bounty hunter Arizona Kid at the Prinz & Co. Slaughterhouse on the outskirts of New Orleans before Arizona captured Gladwell.
