Biography[]
Crescenzio Severino was a Cardinal of the Papal States who was elected to the College of Cardinals under Pope Alexander VI's tenure (1492-1503). After the death of Alexander in September 1503, Severino was paid to elect Cesare Borgia as the new pope, but Borgia money became tainted and they elected Giuliano Della Rovere as Pope Julius II instead.
