Craig was a noble of the Kingdom of Scotland.
Biography[]
Craig was a friend of Lochlan, Mornay Armstrong, and Robert the Bruce, and he was a major landholder in the Kingdom of Scotland. Craig shifted allegiance between England and Scotland during the Anglo-Scots Wars to further his personal gain, and although he supported William Wallace at the Battle of Stirling in 1297, he opposed him at the Battle of Falkirk in 1298 and set up his capture by the English in 1305 to help Robert Bruce become king (even at the battle of Stirling, he was in favor of negotiating with the English as opposed to fighting). However, in 1314 he backed Robert at the Battle of Bannockburn, helping Scotland gain its independence.
