Courtland Cushing Matson (25 April 1841-4 September 1915) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-IN 5) from 4 March 1881 to 3 March 1889, succeeding Thomas M. Browne and preceding George W. Cooper.

Biography[]

Courtland Cushing Matson was born in Brookville, Indiana in 1841, and he served in the 16th Indiana Infantry Regiment before practicing law in Greencastle. He served in the US House of Representatives from 1881 to 1889, and he served on the board of tax commissioners from 1909 to 1913; he died in 1915.
