Count Romanos of Kroton (born 834) was a noble of the Byzantine Empire.
Biography[]
Romanos was born in 834 to the House of Lykodontis, a dynasty of Orthodox Christian Greeks. Romanos became the count of Kroton (present-day Crotone, Province of Crotone, Calabria, Italy), ruling over a part of Byzantine Italy.
