Count Husayn of Aksum (16 July 771-) was the Count of Aksum from 12 August 771 under the Kingdom of Berbera.

Biography[]

Husayn was born on 16 July 771 to Yusuf of Berbera and Queen Basr of Berbera. He was a sayyid through his father, while his mother was Somali; he looked more like his mother, having black skin and more African features. Husayn was granted the County of Aksum by his brother Muhammad I of Berbera on 12 August 771.
