Count Fortun of Najera (710-768) was the Count of Najera.

Biography

Fortun of Najera was a Sunni Muslim Basque of the Banu Qasi. Fortun's family were muladi, forced to convert to Islam during the Islamic conquest of Spain by the Moors. He was the father of Duke Muza I of Zaragoza.
