Cornelius Lawrence Ludlow Leary (22 October 1813-21 March 1893) was a member of the US House of Representatives (U-MD 3) from 4 March 1861 to 3 March 1863, succeeding James Morrison Harris and preceding Henry Winter Davis.
Biography[]
Cornelius Lawrence Ludlow Leary was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1813, and he later moved to Louisville, Kentucky and then returned to Baltimore in 1837. He served in the House of Delegates from 1838 to 1839, and was a Know Nothings presidential elector in 1856, and served in the US House of Representatives from 1861 to 1863 as a Unionist.
