The Corleone Hotel was a hotel located in downtown Chicago, Illinois during the 1930s. Secretly, under the management of Howard Davis, it was a high-class brothel catering to wealthy clients as well as mobsters. Until 1932, the Corleone Hotel kicked up to the Salieri crime family, though Davis was upset that he couldn't hook his girls on drugs, so he turned over to the Chicago Morello crime family in 1932.
Furious, Don Ennio Salieri sent soldato Tommy Angelo to kill Davis, kill Michelle Hayes, a prostitute that gave information to the Morellos, collect any communication between Salieri, Davis, and Morello, then blow up his office. This was accomplished, with the Corleone being closed for repairs until April 1933 when it reopened. However, due to lack of business, the Corleone Hotel was closed in 1943 and bulldozed in 1948 after exchanging building owners several times.
