Corazon Rascon (1955-26 January 2032) was a Dominican PLD politician who served in the Chamber of Deputies from 7 March 2016. She became President Simon de la Paz's designated successor at the 2019 general election, but the PLD's popularity and parliamentary majority collapsed due to the Modern Revolutionary Party's landslide victory. In the September 2019 presidential election, she lost the election to PRM candidate Tomas Senor by a margin of 34.1% to 25.3%, the first PLD candidate to lose a presidential election in six election cycles. She continued to serve in the Chamber until her death in 2032 at the age of 81.
