The Control Clique (Japanese: 制御クリーク, Seigyo kurīku) was a paternal autocrat party in Japan. The party was associated with the Imperial Rule Assistance Association of Prime Minister Fumimaro Konoe, and it held 7% of seats in the Diet of Japan, one of the major parties in the fascist coalition. The clique had its origins in the Toseiha faction of Japanese politics, and it held eight out of ten cabinet positions under Prime Minister Keisuke Okada in 1936, with the Seiyukai Party members Chuji Machida and Fumio Goto holding the Armament and Security Ministries, respectively.
