Biography[]
Causantin mac Cuilein was born in Scotland in 947, the son of King Cuilen. Constantine and his cousin Kenneth conspired to murder King Kenneth II of Scotland when he changed the succession rules to exclude them, and the daughter of the Mormaer of Angus ultimately murdered Kenneth II in 995. Constantine then succeeded Kenneth II as King, only to be killed in battle with his cousin Kenneth in 997.
