The Conservative Party of Chile was a conservative political party in Chile that existed from 1836 to 1948. The party was founded by the pelucones ("big wigs"), a faction of Chilean politics that supported authority and stability over personal freedoms as well as supported Catholic clericalism. From 1830 to 1861, the party was in power in Chile, opposing the Liberal Party of Chile. During the 1850s, the liberal and anti-clericalist wing of the Conservative Party, under Manuel Montt, split from the main party to become the National Party of Chile, and the Conservative Party would regain power during the early 20th century. The party would again be divided during the 1930s, and it dissolved in 1948 due to conflict between its many factions.

The Conservative Party was backed by the landed elite, the Catholic Church, and traditionalists who favored stability and conservative social values. The party's strongholds were predominantly in rural areas, especially in the southern regions, where agricultural interests were strong.
