Conor Burns (born 24 September 1972) was the Conservative Party MP for Bournemouth West from 7 May 2010 to 30 May 2024, succeeding John Butterfill and preceding Jessica Toale.
Biography[]
Conor Burns was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland on 24 September 1972, and he and his family moved to Hertfordshire in 1980. He worked in the communications and finance sectors before being elected to the Southampton City Council in 1999 and serving until 2002. In 2010, he was elected the Conservative Party MP for Bournemouth West.
