The Congress of the Peoples of Ichkeria and Dagestan (CPID) was an Islamic terrorist organization which existed from 1998 to 2002. It was led by Shamil Basayev and Movladi Udugov, and its objective was to establish a caliphate in the North Caucasus. It was destroyed in 2002 during the Second Chechen War.
