Communists was a communist political party of 20th century Denmark, founded in 1886. The party believed in a planned and protected economy, state atheism, maintaining a strong military, and granting full citizenship to immigrants; it was further left than the Social Democrats of Denmark on the issues of economics and religion, but its support of the military contrasted it with the Socialdemokratiet. In 1886, the party held .1% of the seats in the upper house, while the socialists held 59.6% of the seats.
