Communist Youth League of China

The Communist Youth League of China is the youth wing of the Communist Party of China, open to youth between the ages of 14 and 28. The league was founded in 1920, and the Youth League contributed several top-echelon leaders of the communist-led government of China, including Hu Jintao; these former Youth League members became known as the "Tuanpai" (the "Youth League Faction"), as opposed to the Princelings (descendants of the original CPC leadership). By 2007, the Youth League had 109,000,000 members.
