Comita (1 February 736-) was a courtier of the Republic of Venice.
Biography[]
Born on 1 February 736 to a lowborn family of Catholic Italians, Comita was a courtier of the Republic of Venice. In 770 he was recruited by the future Doge Giovanni of Venice in his plot to assassinate Doge Teodato of Venice.
