Colton Reyes (1985 - 2017) was a loyal soldier of the Saviors, serving as a guard at the new satellite outpost.

Biography[]

Early Life[]

Colton Reyes was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, in 1985. He grew up in a working-class household, his father a factory worker and his mother a diner waitress. As a kid, he had a rebellious streak, getting into trouble at school and running with a rough crowd. He was known for being quick with his fists and even quicker with his mouth. Though he wasn't outright cruel, he had a mean streak and enjoyed intimidating those he saw as weak.

After barely finishing high school, Colton bounced between jobs—mechanic, construction worker, bouncer—but he never stuck around anywhere for long. He had a tendency to drink too much, get into fights, and lose jobs because of his temper. By his late twenties, he was living paycheck to paycheck, spending most of his nights in bars and his days nursing hangovers.

The Outbreak[]

When the world collapsed, Colton survived by doing what he always had—looking out for himself. He joined a small group early on but quickly realized that kindness wouldn’t keep him alive. He learned to be ruthless, to take what he needed, and to kill when necessary. Eventually, he crossed paths with the Saviors and was recruited into their ranks.

Unlike some members who followed Negan out of fear, Colton truly believed in the Saviors' way of life. He saw Negan as the kind of leader the world needed—someone who kept order and crushed the weak. He worked his way up to becoming a guard, stationed at the satellite outpost, a key location in the Savior network after the previous attack.

Post-Apocalypse[]

After the Alexandrians’ first attack on the satellite outpost, which left many Saviors dead, the location was rebuilt and reinforced. Colton was one of the men assigned to guard the outpost, patrolling its outer perimeter and keeping watch for threats.

Demise[]

During a minor assault on the outpost, Colton and another Savior noticed a disturbance—walkers were gathering at a specific point along the perimeter. Curious and slightly irritated, he moved closer, squinting into the distance. His last words were "The hell?" before an arrow struck him clean through the head, leaving red mist. His body dropped instantly, lifeless before he hit the ground. His death was quick, unnoticed by most, another casualty in the war against the Saviors. His body was unceremoniously buried in the dirt.
