Jason Farris Brown (born 27 August 1970), known professionally as Colt Ford, was an American country music rapper, singer-songwriter, entrepreneur, and former professional golfer. He was born and raised in Athens, Georgia in 1970, and he was given a religious upbringing. Ford was conservative, and he described himself as a man who flew the US flag, a "ballroom preacher" of the Bible, a gun owner, and a Republican voter. His 2012 song "Answer to No One" was used as Republican presidential primary candidate Rick Perry's 2016 presidential election campaign song.
