Colin Harvey

Colin Harvey (born 1900) was a Royal Canadian Air Force squadron leader during World War II.

Biography[]

Colin Harvey was born in Canada in 1900, and he became a squadron leader in the Royal Canadian Air Force. Harvey was known to be stern and gruff, and he married Royal Air Force section officer Maggie Harvey, planning to move to Scotland with her in 1940 after returning from the Battle of France. Instead, Harvey fought against the Luftwaffe in the Battle of Britain, and he was shot down and badly burned during the battle.
