Alicate en 1969
Alicate (Pliers or Clipper; born 1950) was a Brazilian gang member who was part of the Trio Ternura of Cidade de Deus in Rio de Janeiro, alongside Goose and Cabeleira with Dice Pequeno as an accomplice. The four robbed businesses and supply trucks, fleeing before the cops arrived.
In 1969, the Trio Ternura followed Dice's plan to rob the Motel Miami, a local motel that secretly held a brothel. Midway through the robbery, Dice (who served as a lookout) shot out a window to alert the Trio of the police's arrival. Unbeknownst to Clipper or the others, Dice only did this to isolate the victims, who he massacred with a revolver before fleeing. Hunted by the police, Clipper joined the clergy, while Shaggy and Goose stayed with his girlfriend and his father, respectively.
Unlike the other two members of the Trio, Clipper never returned to a life of crime, instead becoming a priest.
