Cleve Jenkins (1862-1899) was an American drifter who squatted at Compson's Stead with Drew Summit during the 1890s. In 1899, they angrily confronted Arthur Morgan when he searched the house (which they regarded as their spot ) for Jeremiah Compson's old possessions, but Morgan shot both of them dead with his revolver before they could attack him with their knives.
