Clement Plumsted (1680-26 May 1745) was the Proprietary Mayor of Philadelphia from 1 October 1723 to 6 October 1724 (succeeding James Logan and preceding Isaac Norris), from 5 October 1736 to 4 October 1737 (succeeding William Allen and preceding Thomas Griffitts), and from 6 October 1741 to 5 October 1742 (succeeding Samuel Hasell and preceding William Till). Born in Norfolk, he became a merchant in East Jersey before associating himself with William Penn and serving as a Philadelphia councilman, alderman, justice, and mayor.
