Clement Cordonnier (1594-13 June 1640) was a French Navy captain who served in the Caribbean during the mid-17th century. He commanded the raider sloop Carrere from Montserrat, and, on 13 June 1640, his ship was intercepted by the English pirate Ossian Trewhella as it sailed for Puerto Rico. In the ensuing battle, the pirates boarded the Carriere, and Trewhella killed Cordonnier in a swordfight before capturing the ship.
