Claire Keesey

Claire Keesey (born 1982) was the manager of the Cambridge Merit Bank in Boston, Massachusetts.

Biography[]

Claire Keesey was born in Marblehead, Massachusetts in 1982, and she later became the manager of the Cambridge Merit Bank in Boston.

In 2010, her bank was robbed by a heist crew led by Doug MacRay, and she was briefly taken as a hostage before being released. After the heist crew found out that Keesey lived three blocks from them, they decided to ensure that she did not talk to police, and that she did not know the robbers. MacRay began to have a relationship with Keesey, and, after she told him that she noticed a robber's tattoo (Jem Coughlin's neck tattoo), MacRay convinced Keesey that the authorities could not protect her, and therefore that she should not talk to the police.

After Keesey was harassed and her car vandalized by a local thug, MacRay and Coughlin donned hockey masks and assaulted the offenders to protect Keesey. Keesey later agreed to go away to Florida with MacRay, but FBI Special Agent Adam Frawley revealed to Keesey that MacRay was one of the men who had kidnapped her, and she broke up with him.

After the 2010 Fenway Park heist, MacRey left the $3 million score in Keesey's backyard, entrusting her with making the right decision. She decided to refurbish the local ice hockey arena where Doug once played, renaming it in honor of Doug's mother, who had committed suicide after becoming addicted to drugs.
