City Road is a road that runs through Central London. The City Road runs southeast from Pentonville Road at Angel past the City Road Basin of Regent's Canal and the Moorfields Eye Hospital to a junction with Old Street, south to Finsbury Square, and into Moorgate and the City of London. In 1846, the road was extended to connect with London Bridge.
