Cisra was an Etruscan city-state located near modern Cerveteri, Lazio, Italy, located 31 miles northwest of Rome. It became a wealthy trading port, and only Tarquinii was equal in power at its height in 600 BC. Cisra later became a subject of the Etruscan city-state of Veii, and it was conquered by the Roman Republic in 399 BC during Rome's war with Veii.
