Circus Circus Reno is a hotel and casino in Reno, Nevada. The site was originally occupied by the Gray, Reid & Wright department store from 7 November 1957 to 1977, when Circus Circus Enterprises purchased the building and opened a circus-themed casino in 1 July 1978, a decade after the founding of its Las Vegas counterpart. Its North Tower opened in 1981 and its Sky Tower in 1985.
