Chuka Umunna (born 17 October 1978) was the Labour Party MP for Streatham from 6 May 2010 to 6 November 2019, succeeding Keith Hill and preceding Bell Ribeiro-Addy.

Chuka Umunna was born in Lambeth, London, England on 17 October 1978, and he worked as a solicitor before entering politics. He served as the Labour Party MP for Streatham from 2010 to 2019, and he aligned with the party's anti-neoliberal "Blue Labour" faction. In 2019, he defected to The Independent Group due to his disagreements with Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, and he ultimately defected to the Liberal Democrats. He lost his seat amid a blue wave in 2019.
