Christopher Hershey

Christopher Hershey (1883-) was a resident of Archie, Catahoula Parish, Louisiana during the late 19th century. By 1899, he had developed a teenage crush for Lily-May, a girl who did not share his affection, and he often moped about his lot along Ringneck Creek. The outlaw Arthur Morgan found him talking to himself and assuring himself that Lily-May would one day come to him, and Morgan gave him advice, telling him that there were very few good men in the world, and advised him to become one of them. Hershey thanked Morgan for his advice, and Morgan then rode off.
