Christian Wendler was a German Alternative for Germany politician who served on the city council of Olbernhau, Saxony during the 2020s. He became involved with the far-right Reichsbürger movement, and, on 7 December 2022, he was arrested for his involvement in the 2022 Germany coup d'etat plot.
