The Christian Social Party, also known as the Christian Social Workers' Party, was a conservative political party in 19th and 20th century Germany. The combined a strong Christian and conservative program with progressive labor ideas, supporting a protected and government-assisted economy, while it also supported state Protestantism, opposed multiculturalism, and supported a strong military. The party was also known for its anti-Semitism, which it claimed was related to its opposition to capitalism, claiming that both big business and liberals/socialists were "Judaized" and that the "world Jewry" sought to exterminate the German people. The party dissolved in 1918 and was replaced by the national conservative German National People's Party (DNVP).
