Christian Gallin (died July 1754) was a captain of the British Army serving under William Johnson during the French and Indian War.
Biography[]
Christian Gallin was a member of the Templar Order under Anglo-Irish frontiersman William Johnson as well as a captain of the British Army. In July 1754 he was sent as a messenger by James Wardrop to tell Johnson that he would not give him the Voynich Manuscript because it was too risky, but Johnson told him to go back to Wardrop at Fort Frederick in Albany and tell him to hand over the manuscript or be scalped. Gallin ran for the fort, but he was intercepted by Assassin Order member Shay Cormac, who shot him twice in the back and finished him with his sword and dagger.
