The Christian Democratic Party (PDC) is a progressive Christian democratic political party in Bolivia that was founded on 6 February 1954. The party called for a "Third Way" between capitalism and socialism, supporting a more humane and democratic political system. In the 1960s, the revolutionary socialist youth movement of the PDC formed the Revolutionary Left Movement (MIR). The party sided with leftist parties in elections due to its Christian leftist views, and it was a significant minor party in politics by the 2010s.
