Chris Stewart (born 15 July 1960) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-UT 2) from 3 January 2013 to 15 September 2023, succeeding Jim Matheson and preceding Celeste Maloy.
Biography[]
Chris Stewart was born in Logan, Utah in 1960, and he served in the US Air Force from 1984 to 1998, rising to the rank of Major. He became the CEO of a consulting company after leaving the military, and he was elected to the US House of Representatives in 2012 as a Republican Party member. He resigned in 2023 due to his wife's health issues.
