Christopher Charles "Chris" Cuomo (born 9 August 1970) was an American CNN television journalist.

Biography[]

Christopher Charles Cuomo was born in Queens, New York City, New York in 1970, the son of Governor Mario Cuomo and the brother of Governor Andrew Cuomo. He was licensed as an attorney before working for CNBC, MSNBC, CNN, and Fox News, and he was the news anchor for Good Morning America from September 2006 to December 2009. In 2017, he became host of the 9-10:00 PM Cuomo Prime Time on CNN, competing with Sean Hannity and Rachel Maddow's viewers. He received multiple Emmy Award nominations for his widely-praised coverage of breaking news, business news, and legal news, and he was known to present news in an impartial and analytical style. On 31 March 2020, he was diagnosed with coronavirus, but he continued to broadcast his usual weekday program from his home.
